WHAT WE DO

COLLECTIVE CARE CIRCLES

Collective care circles  offer bodily-attuned practices that acknowledge how critical interconnectedness and interdependency are for collective well-being, especially in these unprecedented times.
Techniques we draw upon to practice collective care include check-ins, rest, dance, coherent breathing, tapping, movement, self-massage, journaling, meditation, sound & song, and gentle/restorative yoga.
We currently run 2 collective care circles: one is open to any and everyone, the other is exclusively for Black artists/cultural workers/activists.
Both collective care circles meet weekly on Saturdays

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All offerings are provided at absolutely no cost to those we serve. Our work is made possible by donations, store purchases, and a pay-it-forward model that allows those who can to support the wellness and collective wellbeing of our fellow siblings.

A group session for 4+ people costs Breath & Body Alive $80+

(including facilitation expenses and data sponsorship)

To make that possible:

16 people could donate $5
8 people could donate $10
6 people could donate $15
4 people could donate $20
1 super generous person could donate $80 or more
